Bill Bailey Travel Club invites you to explore the beautiful Greek island of Santorini, a popular vacation destination.
Welcome to the island of Santorini. This Greek island, like all others is rich in lore and legend and steeped in tradition. Easily divided into three parts, the island is part commercial, part tourist and part historical. For most vacationers, the part of the island that will be most visible is obviously the tourist side of the island.
Maintaining both modern and historical aspects to Greece is part of its innovative approach to tourism. Rather than having to wade through the touristy side of Santorini to explore the history, the two are more separate, offering more than one way to experience the island. Of course, accommodations for tourists can be found throughout the island, but catering to all sects of the tourism industry and keeping the historic aspect of the island more separate, makes Santorini a great place for all types of tourists and travelers.

- Kamari
- Monolithos

Historic Greek Ruins
History is abundant in Greece and one of the most well known sites on the island of Santorini is Akrotiri. Unfortunately, it has been closed to the public since 2005 for renovations and has not had a date for reopening as of yet. As an alternative for the historical traveler, check out the ruins of Ancient Thera, and other ruins found throughout the island.
Nature At Its Best
Most visitors have heard of Caldera, the remnants of an ancient volcano. This part of the island is well worth the visit for both lovers of lore and legend as well as natural wonders as for many it represents the legend of Atlantis.
